Low quality saw blade the saw blade bends very easily very close to breaking and its hard straighten enough to put it back in the handle. Also it pops out sometimes while using the hatchet to chop wood. Just by a hatchet and saw seperately. Overall good concept just very poorly executed.
Worth More Than The Cost This ax/saw is a fantastic addition to my woodsman kit! A high end ax (you know the ones), that cost four or more times the cost of this ax/saw, is still just an ax without a saw. Let’s be honest, how many people really get a return on the investment in a high end ax? Is the show and tell of an expensive ax really worth it?? Get this and use the savings on other kit needs.
Great saw Bought this for my survival go bag. Had a tree limb fall off of a tree next to my house so I tried it out to make sure it was ok before settling. The axe cane razor sharp and cut through smaller branches with ease. The saw is the full length of the handle(which is pretty long, barely fits in my pack) and has long sharp teeth that cut through a 9 inch diameter limb (hardwood) in just a few minutes with minimal effort. I couldnât be happier with this product.
