Best Bang for your buck for an all around knife This is a great knife right out of the box and comes with a well made brown leather sheath. Comfortable to hold and use for extended periods. Thick flat ground blade holds an edge very well. As far as an everything everyday bushcrafting knife it will hold it’s own with any of the high dollar knives I have that cost 4 times as much. Chipped on first day of camping This knife was nice at first, it was able to take small twigs and leaves off branches easily. Had it for a year, didn’t use if for much, just the occasional rope cutting and what not. Fast forward to last week when I go camping for a weekend and when I was batoning branches the thing chips. Best blade to get into bushcrafting! This blade is perfect as a beginner/intermediate bushcrafting blade. If you are looking to get into the hobby, I would definitely recommend getting this knife before spending money on an expensive custom blade right out of the gate. It has a great weight, holds an edge beautifully, and is very robust. I personally removed the black coating (personal preference) and I reached out to GKC Outfitters (find them on facebook, AMAZING service!) and they made me custom micarta handles for this blade…
