Build quality has been greatly improved, from the first production runs. My favorite EDC knife. An outstanding knife. And I own the Schrade/GriffinSCHF42 & SCHF42D Both great knives in their own right. The Schrade/Griffin is notorious for Sheath rattle. Here’s the cure for any plastic and kydex sheath: Schrade/Griffin SCHF55 is my favorite knife and I have the 42 & 42D as well. The only complaint I’ve repeatedly heard is the stock sheath rattles. As mine did also. Simple fix is to put tissue in the sheath to insulate it and wrap the sheath with a wash cloth to keep from burning your hands. Take a hair dryer set on high and CAREFULLY heat the mouth of the sheath. It’s not kydex so it will…
