Buy this one, its awesome! This is one of those pieces of kit (along with my Toaks 750) that just makes me happy. The long handle is great for getting down in a mountain house bag, but its also great for flipping a steak on my little backpack grill grate. Also, compared to other sporks ive used, this one has some of the better tines. Compared to the folding Toaks spork, this one can dig into a piece of meat (steak) much better. Held up well to Appalachian Trail Through HIke I purchased this spoon for my southbound Appalachian Trail through-hike. I carried it from Katahdin, Maine, to Franklin, TN. All-in all it was a great spoon. The long handle made scraping the bottom of the peanut butter jar easy. It held up to eating a half gallon of ice-cream. I never had any issues with it until the weather turned very cold. In The Smokies the frozen Nutella proved to be too much. Spoon never broke, but flexed and bent badly. While it has a nice deep bowl that makes eating easy, the upper edges of the bowl weren’t beveled at all after it was stamped out. Because of the deep bowl and the high sharp edges along with the somewhat rough texture of anodizing , you end up with two spots on your upper lip that are rubbed raw as you eat.
