A completely new concept in compression dry bags – there is no valve. This innovation uses an air-permeable base made of eVent waterproof fabric, which allows air to be pushed out of the sack, but won’t allow water to get back in. Proper Use: Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can’t get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle. Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric. Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be ‘double bagged’ (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered.

Synthetic Sleeping Bag? No problem! It’s a steep price for the sack but trust me it’s totally worth it. I have a 20 degree Cat’s Meow sleeping bag by northface and have been looking to get it smaller than the size of the already included compression sack. This bag is perfect. I got a size large and the bag went from taking up more than half of my backpack to taking up a fifth. The bag also does a fine job of keeping the content dry. This bag is intended for rain and humidity build up, not for full underwater submersion. However,…

Works for my Bikepacking needs Got this for my upcoming bikepacking trip. It fits my Marmot Nanowave 45 sleeping bag and my ALPS liner perfectly. I needed a skinnier stuff sack than what the Marmot came with in order to fit in to my handlebar bag. Plus – having my sleeping bag in a waterproof bag is a bonus, because no matter if it rains or not, your tent will be wet from condensation following a night in Florida, so its nice to have my sleep gear separated from the wet tent.

Great compression bags. Use these for camping and brought them on a 4 month backpacking trip through Asia. I use a couple X-Small size bags instead of a larger one to help me organize my clothes. They keep odor in (at least my dirty socks) and water out. I carried my laptop in this bag through monsoon rain to work at a coffee shop. I was soaked but the laptop was dry. The compression straps are tough, I put a lot of force into tightening them down and never feel worried about busting a seam. I highly recommend these…
