The perfect target? I’ve been using this target heavily since purchased nearly a year ago. I’ve thrown everything at it from several thousand rounds of 9mm and .40 to over a thousand rounds of 5.56 and a few hundred rounds of .30-06. The target holds up against it all. When shot with the 5.56 or .30-06 at closer ranges there will be tiny pits maybe a quarter of a millimeter deep and a milimeter in diameter, but being 3/8 in thick you would literally have to hit the EXACT same spot at close range thousands of times…

Great Targets! Takes the abuse. They are cheap too. Takes 9mm JHP, 9MM FMJ, .45ACP, .45HP, .22LR, 12GA, .223FMJ, and 5.56NATO just fine. Chipping does occur at the edges (using .223 or 5.56 within 100 yards), as expected. At 4″, they are tiny when out to 25 yards. These are best for pistol at 10 yards. If you are ONLY going with pistols, I recommend going 8″ x 3/8″ — might be a better buy.Recommend starting off at the 8″ targets (less likely to hit edges). You can use…

Just ordered 2 more 6″ for a shooting party next Saturday Great Buy! I highly recommend these targets, they are exactly as advertised, maybe even a bit understated. 100’s of 9mm 100’s of .22 and not even a scratch. Just hang them, apply a coat of paint, and start shooting! I like to use a thicker epoxy spray paint so it chips off with a hit for easy sighting. The fun will last as long as the ammo does, in fact I just ordered 2 more to have more options to shoot.
