Out of the box it sliced paper thin like the proverbial hot knife through butter When I first got this knife, I made myself a rare, 2 inch thick filet mignon to test it out. Out of the box it sliced paper thin like the proverbial hot knife through butter. It’s beautifully made and a pleasure to use.
Classy and sharp! I love this knife and never knew what I was missing until I used it for the first time. The Shun version of this knife is well worth the extra money. The fit and finish are near perfect and it comes razor sharp. My only complaint is that the blade is a little thin…just doesn’t feel “substantial” in my hand. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
Love it Shun! This is a great knife. I use at restaurants because the ones they give you are about a useful as a screw driver.
