rock solid I was able to cut huge framing nails with these without damaging the cutting blade. I did the same thing with 2 other pair of nippers/pliers and the cutting blades deformed.
Good, But…. Could be better These are nice Klien pliers, BUT…. They are a lower quality of steel than the Klien J2000 lighter color blue handled pliers. I used these pliers everyday for about three months and pretty much ruined the cutting edge. I have not had this problem with the J2000 model which features a hardened steal cutting edge. Do your self a favor spend the extra $10 and get the J2000 NE for the money its a no brainer they will last forever if you don”t blow them up or lose them.
The best side cutting pliers you can buy. Period. OK, so there is a reason that you will see a set of Klein side cutting pliers in almost every single tool bag of any electrician across almost every profession. They are spectacular tools and perform as expected. It almost seems pointless posting a review for these but, in case you are on the fence, get off of it and buy these.
