🙋 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 🙋
❓ Q: What’s the temperature range for these utensils?
🔆 A: Our utensils are safe to use from -4ᵒ to 374ᵒ Fahrenheit. Note: boiling occurs at 212ᵒF, & deep frying typically occurs between 350ᵒF & 370ᵒF.
❓ Q: Will the spatula melt while I’m cooking?
🔆 A: Health conscious cooks are often concerned about melting dangerous plastics into foods, and rightfully so! With our BPA-free, non-toxic, & heat-resistant utensils, melting is not a concern! Of course it’s not a good idea to leave a utensil in a pan on high heat for an extended period of time. (Cook your food, not your utensils!)
❓ Q: What exactly is silicone?
🔆 A: Silicone is a flexible rubber-like synthetic polymer known for high heat resistance & low toxicity. Our BPA-free, non-toxic, heat-resistant utensils meet food safety and purity standards in compliance with the FDA.
❓ Q: What type of wood are the handles?
🔆 A: The handles are all natural rubber-wood, an eco-friendly hardwood species harvested from a renewable source with very little shrinkage, making it one of the best materials for kitchen tools.
❓ Q: Are the handles antibacterial?
🔆 A: You may have noticed some of our competitors claiming their utensils are ‘antibacterial,’ but scientifically speaking, that’s just a big myth! No species of wood is actually ‘antibacterial,’ although wood (of ALL species) does absorb bacteria through capillary action, killing it off as the wood dries. So in that sense, our utensils are just as antibacterial as any set on the market!
❓ Q: How should I wash my utensils so they last a long time?
🔆 A: Wash them in warm water with dish soap, rinse thoroughly, & dry with a clean towel. To ensure they last a lifetime, never soak in water for long periods or wash in the dishwasher.
