Excellent coffee mug for keeping it hot! I needed to have a thermal mug to use in the mornings for my Nespresso machine. I was using a double walled glass mug but it didn’t keep it hot. I would also put it in the microwave to get it hotter. I can now make two pods and add form and with the lid it will stay hot for hours. I also don’t have to worry about spilling it as I did several times at my desk and in the kitchen. You also do not need a coaster as the outside is cool and has a scratch resistant coating to protect the mug.
Maybe not for seniors or people with arthritis I have 2 other Simple Modern drinking bottles that I love, but I had to return this one (12oz Scout Coffee Mug Tumbler). I’m a senior with mild arthritis and had 2 problems with it:1. You have to screw the lid on very tightly to have it align in the correct drinking position.
