Questionable Consistentsy, quality and authenticity. Just ordered my second Simple Modern 40oz water jug. And doing so made me question quality and authenticity of both water jugs. In my pictures you can see the dark grey (new) next to the light grey (1 month old). Both a completely different brand stamp and markings. The light grey (1 month old) looks and feels printed on, while the dark grey (new) looks much better being what looks and feels to be Laser engraved. So witch one is legit? Misleading product description, not real 18/8 steel I give this product 2 stars simply because it’s better than the plastic jugs I had been using. That being said, the reason for the low rating is because this company advertises this product as being made of 18/8 stainless steel. The problem is that 18/8 steel is austenitic and does NOT hold a magnetic charge.
