The description is very true. This bottle was a replacement for another similar bottle. I was hoping it would keep coffee hot for a long time. I was surprised how long it does keep hot then warm. It stays hot for hours. I left some in the bottle and at about 24 hrs it was still warm.I havenât tried it with cold water but I would think it will keep water cold for hours too. This is the 17 oz. Love the colors, put this to the test I live in AZ and I bought these in several colors. When I received them, they seemed to work great but I wanted to put them to the test. So on the day the temperature was going to be 119 degrees, I took cold water and filled the bottle. I did not add any ice when I filled it. I put it in the car at about 9:00 am and left it in the car all day, some hours having the car parked in a non-air conditioned garage with all the windows closed. THESE BOTTLES ROCK I got 2 of these in Glimmering Gold – the 17 oz. and the 25 oz. I got the larger one first, and felt it was too big. After getting the 17 ounce bottle I found that I was using the larger one more often. The bottles never sweat, the water stays cold or cool, and they don’t leak.
