NOT WATERPROOF This is 100% not waterproof. I use these almost everyday on my way to work up the mountain. I depend on these to keep my legs dry. It took 5 minutes of walking in very light rain and my jeans underneath were soaked because the hiking pants couldn’t block a little rain. Now I am going to have to work my outdoor winter job wet.
ALMOST as waterproof as no pants at all Singbring pants are rock-bottom quality at a premium price. The material used is a rough, clingy, 0% waterproof material that will absorb and retain water all day. The two yellow zippers are purely for style, as they can be zipped exactly once before they irreparably fail and the shallow pockets are made of a nylon material slick enough to allow your stuff to fall out but nowhere near good enough to keep water out.
