So I would give 5 stars if it was built better and it was easier to wash without worrying about … The bottom piece doesn’t seal completely. so if you soak the cup in a sink full of water ,(because you can’t put it in the dishwasher), then it ends up trapping water inside the bottom portion of the cup. It DOES however seem to keep my kids foods hot for school lunches. So I would give 5 stars if it was built better and it was easier to wash without worrying about the water getting trapped in the bottom cover piece.
Does not leak and is a nice thermos. I put this in my sons lunchbox when he has soup like things or sometimes when he has noodles/rice Ext. It keeps the food hot or cold and has not leaked so far. I have not tried putting something with a very thin broth in it yet. The only extra staff about this product is that it’s hand washable and cannot go in the dishwasher but I don’t find that to be that big of a deal.
Good insulation and easy for the littles to use. My 5 year old has been using this to take hot lunch to kindergarten. This is easy to open which is important for there little hands. Also it keeps the heat in really well. The first day I packed him soup I made sure to put hot water in to heat it then heated the soup up extra hot. He came home and said he was not able to eat much of his soup because it was too hot to eat. 🙁 I now just make sure it is the right temp when I pack the lunch and it has been perfect.
