Prevent blisters If you haven’t worn wool socks before, I recommend these, even in very hot weather. In fact, especially in hot weather. It wicks moisture away, assuming your shoes breathe, and keeps skin from getting water-logged like what happened to me with cotton socks and helped cause a bad blister to form. I will never hike without wool socks again (at least never with cotton).
I have been very happy with this particular model of Smartwool sock I have bought these before and have worn them consistently for about two years, rotating between five or six pairs. I have been very happy with this particular model of Smartwool sock. Great in the winter as your feet stay warm and great during the summer since your feet do not get sweaty like they do with cotton socks. These are great socks.
SmartWool socks are a game changer. Buy them. Seriously why aren’t all socks made like this? Wool socks! OMG! I love them. I know that they are very pricey, but they last.
