Smartwool Socks Look and Feel Great! The Smartwool socks are great! Smartwool is the only thing to wear under boots, and this winter they have been used continuously. The socks wear well, I have a pair from 2 years ago and they are just beginning to feel a little tothin. They keep their shape, and don’t droop, even after a full day of wear. They really protect your feet from blisters.

Not the same quality as previous smartwool socks. I’ve had a pair of these before, picked up at a local store a couple of years ago. These are just not as warm. Normally I’ve worn these socks with boots and they were cozy and comfortable and breathable, but the two pairs I purchased here are nowhere near the same. Nor do they wash the same way. I suspect less wool in the material. Disappointed.
