Very Bright, Very Useful! I absolutely love this light. First, it frees up both my hands. Second, it is very bright. Third, you can buy replacement rechargeable batteries to exchange when one dies. I use this light on the job and at home. It illuminates dark or poorly light areas on the job site. I also use it at home when I trim my dog. I’ve never owned a better light.
Great! This light was a few more $ than others but I was glad I picked it. It is very bright. The lens allows you to focus to a spot or wide-angle. Adjustments and fit are very good. I had no problems with the switch or battery contact as others reported. Strap could use a top piece but not totally necessary since it is rather light weight. Material and workmanship look very good.
Sketchy battery contact This headlamp is lightweight and feels good on the head. The on/off button feels a bit mushy, but has a prominent click once depressed. One issue I noticed immediately was the battery cover made a poor connection with the negative contact. When screwed completely down, it turned on 50% of the time, and once on, a tap on the side killed it. I was able to remedy this by adding aluminum foil around the battery to insure reliable contact.
