I purchased this tomahawk as a small campfire and hiking axe, as well for the fun of having a throwing tomahawk.I bought it at $30 and have to say it is worth it, given the price.PROS:–The hard plastic handle is ridged, making it easy to grip, even while wet or grimy.–The axehead came with a strong edge, and can be easily finished to a very sharp blade that lasts. Good “Bang for the Buck” To be clear, I purchased this for chopping limbs and small trees during my kayak camping trips. I do not plan to use it as a self defense tool or close combat weapon. There are better products for that and, frankly, better weapons.Good tomahawk for the money. Didn’t last a day in the field… This tomahawk seemed too good to be true. Less than $30 for a tactical tomahawk? I had seen a youtube review in which this tool developed similar problems to mine in field conditions, but I thought I would give it a shot.I experienced the same failure in one day of use.
