Yes, this antenna works If you are reading this you must be doing your research, good. But, you are also probably confused by all the conflicting reviews here and on various forums or Google searches. Today, using this antenna I made contact (12:42 local) with a fellow Ham operator in Johannesburg, South Africa on the 10 meter band. I live in Wisconsin. That’s a distance of 9,126 miles. I am using a Radio Shack HTX10 with 25 watts on SSB. I guess this antenna works!

Decent kit. Plan ahead Assembly was straight forward ( more on that in a moment). Light weight, and easy to mount and raise. My signal reports are similar to my 30yr old Shakespeare Big Stick. I read many bad reviews about assembly problems.
