Warm, soft, weather resistant! I loooved these socks on a 9 week backpacking trip through Iceland, Ireland, and parts of Northern Europe during winter. My feet stayed very warm in my snow boots, which I attribute to the wool they contain as all my woolen gear kept me much warmer than anything else. They dried quickly when laid across a radiator overnight, and I just alternated a different pair each day. They were never smelly either!
