An expandable resting spot I really like the fact that this hammock can be folded up to a compact size so that it fits nicely into a small bag. When it is opened, the hammock itself is quite large. I generally carry it in my backpack when I am out on the trail biking and need a break. I was surprised at the strength of the fabric as it is very thin, yet feels like it can hold a significant amount of weight. I am sure it holds at least 200 pounds, but it is rated for 500.
