Good quality compass Good quality compass. I’m an engineer and needed this for work. The blue part is plastic, but it looks and feels sturdy, and is professional enough for me to use at work without it seeming like a kid’s toy. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality for the price.
Great Craftsmanship much better than what I could find locally. Does not open by itself like cheaper compasses.very sturdy. Only for very large circels it was not suitable, as the compass can only espand up untilthe end of the adjustment screw. Has a sharper needle included, which you may want to switch/flip to the less sharper onefor a younger student.
A good compass On one hand, this compass is much better than any that I have had in the past. It stays to where you set it, unlike others that move/close whenever you try to use them. But on the other hand, I took away one star because, possibly because of how I use it, the needle is sharp and leaves a hole in my paper most of the time. Also the pencil is sometimes hard to mark with and I’ll have to trace the same circle twice. But all in all, I would suggest this, because it is much better than any…
