Beware of Knock-Offs I purchased two sets of these from Amazon three years ago. They were beyond perfect for camping and I was ridiculously happy with them. Solid, durable, great quality, didn’t tarnish or rust.Fast forward to now. My kids have become obsessed with Harry Potter. They want Harry Potter themed birthday parties. I’m planning on recreating the Great Hall in our dining room and wanted to use these for the plates. They look very similar to what they used in the movies. I ordered 6 more…
Not food-grade steel! No! I wish I had read all the reviews before I bought these. I agree with the other purchasers about the quality of the steel not being food grade. When I washed them, I rubbed a few darker spots and the steel stained my fingers. The stain remains after a shower and dishwashing. I will not even let my seven-year-old use them to sift sand & pebbles while playing, much less eat off of them.
Questionable Stainless Steel Grade I’m going to have to give this a one star review because I suspect these are NOT 201 stainless steel. 201 is already a cost-cutting, cheap alternative to the standard 304 grade.I purchased a set of three last year.
