Yeah it totally leaks I had high hopes, but unfortunately, even with the cap screwed on tightly and properly (not cross threaded), upending the flask still leaks out liquid. I guess made in China doesn’t necessarily mean good quality, even with a supposedly good brand name like Stanley behind it.
Good product, just not for me. I suppose the product does as it claims and is extremely durable; however, it is also extremely bulky. I can’t imagine ever using using this flask to conceal alcohol or anything in public or at a concert because it would look like you are walking around with a large romance novel in your pocket. Not the ideal dimensions for the intended use of a flask but the craftsmanship and durability are both very good.
Good steel and a name you can trust It is surprisingly hard to find a satisfactory flask. This one fits the bill. Stanley flasks use food-grade 18/8 steel, not some mystery metal that’ll leach chemicals into your drink or rust on you.
