Stansport Black Granite Steel Mess Kit This Stansport Black Granite Steel Mess Kit is just a bit larger than the average mess kit.Weight is not an issue for me…well not the weight in my pack…I could lose a few but ,that said ,this is a great cook kit for one or two people and the coating on the steel is tough. I have used one of these kits for about 20 to 25 meals and they were all good plus the kit still looks like new as I cook NEAR the fire and NOT on the fire.I have fried eggs,bacon,made oatmeal and even cooked an angel food…
Decent non-stick set This set is advertised as a non-stick set – not teflon or a completely stickless surface. The coating does help primarily with cleaning, and cooking things like eggs that would normally stick to an uncoated pan.
Had it a short time and so far its great!! Chose this because of the price and construction.
