Buy a good self inflating sleeping pad instead!! Bought two of these, because I didnt wish to spend too much money on a sleeping pad. Big mistake!! It was lightweighted which was nice. But took up lot of space inside our bag, since we travelled by air. I expected that, so that wasn’t much of a surprise. We did backpacking for a week in the forest. Within a couple of days, the pad got severely damaged since it couldn’t handle the rough/rocky floors. We just throwed the pads away on our way back home. If u are thinking of buying a sleeping pad…

Pack-Lite Pad I purchased this for my child who is a Boy Scout. He frequently goes on campovers and backpacking. This product is extremely light which makes it easier for him to carry on his backpacking trips. So far he is very satisfied with the product with its attached straps for rolling-up and securing it. Price was also very economical.

Camping Must-Have This product works great for the intended purpose. Yes, it’s not super thick or self inflatable (you’re going to need to shell out more $$ for that.) However, this is a bare-bones must-have for any backpacker. This pad is super lightweight and easy to strap to your pack. It provides (possibly life-saving) thermal protection from the cold ground if you are camping in cooler temperatures. Obviously you’re not going to feel like you’re resting on a sleep number bed, but it will exponentially…
