Has potential, but doesn’t hold air. Opened the item on the night it arrived, inflated it, and gave it a test.First impressions:* Not as compact as I’d hoped, but I’ll put that issue on myself. I simply don’t want to deal with the narrow ultralight pads which is what led me to this one. All packed up, it’s slightly larger than my jetboil.* I initially didn’t like the way the valves protrude from the pad. They stick out quite a bit in both corners. Great pad – Absolutely no complaints UPDATE: November, 2017So I’ve had this thing for over a year now, and have some observations. First, this thing remains very comfortable. Several of the other adults in our troop have bought them after seeing mine. I sleep so well on this thing, it’s actually hard to wake up sometimes. Second, it packs well. Good for big dudes. Ok for big dudes who are also side sleepers. Ok, I am a big guy with very broad shoulders. I’m 6’4″ and 250lbs. I have other backpacking pads, but they are all pretty narrow to save weight. That’s great when hiking, but when you get to camp and want to get some sleep, I found I would often fall off the pad and wake myself up.This is the first pad I’ve found that doesn’t have that problem.
