I really like this knife So first off, I really like this knife.. It is well made, sharp, and comfortable. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because when I tried to switch the direction of the pocket clip, one of the 3 screws stripped out right away. I used a dremmel to cut it into a flat head in order to remove it. Right now I have just two screws holding in the pocket clip instead of 3. The two screws are sufficient to do this. Awesome. Excellent knife. The quality is really nice for $35. The holster is a plus too, makes deploying the knife real smooth and effective. Its probably better for someone who has bigger hands, my hands are smaller so I don’t fill the whole grip.
This is a sheath-assisted opening knife — not spring assisted. That said, it’s a really nice design and well made. So, like others, I was expecting a spring assisted karambit with a nice holster system… I was initially very disappointed that the knife has no spring assist. However, once I configured the very nice holster, I am very pleased with the action of the knife. On a one-handled pull from the left side of my belt, the knife opens automatically about 90% of the way on a standard pull (not quite far enough to lock, but close).
