Great present for my mom with Macular Degeneration This is my second purchase of this headlamp. Love mine so much that I bought one for my mom, who has Macular Degeneration and needs some extra light while she reads and scrapbooks. She loves hers, too. The on/off button is a different material than the hard cover, so she can feel it. It has three brightness levels, so she can choose according to how much extra light she needs. She can wear it with the strap or clip it on her cap.

Amazingly bright flood light – covers a WIDE area I’m a light nut. I literally have over 250 of them. Headlamps, hand-held and more. This is a COB (Chip on board) style of LED, so it looks like a solid bar of light. There’s two settings – very bright and even brighter. It also includes two mounting options – a head strap and a cap visor clip. This clip will also work on straps – backpack, camera bag, etc. The light mount angle is adjustable, so you can position the light angle.

… this for a few days but the environment was pretty extreme. The beam is super wide I’ve only used this for a few days but the environment was pretty extreme. The beam is super wide, with very soft shadows and is bright enough for 90% of what i do on the low setting.
