Excellence from Streamlight I used a Surefire Fury on-duty for almost four years. Streamlight 88065 Pro Tac HL-X 1,000 Lumen At first I was disappointed, when I tried the light in the kitchen; it seemed yellowish and didn’t appear to be much brighter than some of my less expensive lights. I prefer a whiter light, which appears brighter. Then I took it outside and wow, I was impressed. (Compleatly Updated) Long Term Usage Review I have had this light for about 2 years , and have found it to be an excellent light for the price. It works wonderfully off of primary cells (CR123), but is somewhat touchy when it comes to 18650s you have to make sure you get the right ones. I can also verify that the button top cells from orbtronic work well.
