Great Transceiver… Love this radio, seems to be pretty stable on 10 meters , better than my Galaxy DX-99v and has a lot of extra features, plus the 70 – 80 watts of power is great…
One of the better radios in its class. Good radio. It will need a modification if you want cb channels. It is almost impossible to have an effective antenna for HF or CB on a snowmobile or similar vehicle. The radio should not be blamed for the poor performance in a less than ideal installation.
Stryker 955 is a Cadillac for mobile radios. Stryker 955 is an excellent radio for SSB or AM, and it shines on SSB. You don’t need a power mic for this radio stock mic works just fine! I get tons of positive reports of how clean and crisp this radio sounds over the air. Solid buy.ââââ
