Keeps food cold Easy to move from our car into a hotel room. I canât always depend on a hotel room refrigerator being cold enough but this cooler is always cold. I bought an adapter so the 12 volt plug can be plugged into a wall electrical receptacle. Works great.
False Statement in online description. Does NOT cool 50F to 68F below ambient F temperature. The product sheet with the product states that it cools from 10C to 20C below ambient C temperature. 10C does convert to 50F, but C and F do NOT calculate from the same base. If the machine could cool 50F below an ambient temperature of 50F, that would = 0F or 32F degrees BELOW freezing. At 50F the machine (as calculated from the product sheet statement) could possibly cool to freezing 32F.
