Loved the style and the idea, but … I purchased this hat for protection while mowing our nearly three acre yard. It seems to be well-made and a good value for the price which, of course, has been reduced significantly in the week since I bought the hat.However, the product info stated that the hat was “one size” and fits most head sizes. I have an average sized head but this hat will not, even with the drawstring pulled as tightly as it will go, stay on my head. The slightest breeze will cause it to go sailing…

Excellent purchase for me! I purchased this hat to use on a seventeen mile bike ride. I did not want my scalp to get burned, and I also didn’t want to rub greasy sunscreen on top of my head and in my hair. This hat did the trick, protecting not only the top of my head, but also my ears and part of my face. It ended up being my favorite sun hat for years, and I wore it almost daily in the hot southern sun.
