My Favorite SureFire light. Need more 1 cell lights! I’ve been a SureFire customer since 2003 and this is my favorite Tactical light. I needed something that was pocket sized and bright for personal defense. This light is bright enough to blind an assailant in the daytime, yet it only runs on 1 CR 123 battery. I also like that it can run up to 50 hours on the 5 lumen setting so its perfect for power outages and those times when you don’t need 400 lumens or eye scorching light. I don’t know why so many people are complaining about the Max Vision…

Typical Surefire High Quality. Great EDC Light!! Very small, very tough light. I’m pretty sure this one is smaller than the original E1B Back Up. The body is knurled though, the original E1B was smooth. This one feels more grippy for sure. I love the beam on this. Lots of bright spill, very different from the tight white throwy spot most surefire lights have. If you don’t like spill, don’t get this light. For my purposes, it has plenty of useful throw as well. The low setting is pretty low, great for close up work or preserving night vision…

However, after having it for a month or so, think it is worth the money. Extremely bright, super compact, very high quality, easy to take anywhere – this size is allowed as carry on by TSA and foreign carriers – used it on a flight to Europe recently to help another passenger locate an item dropped between seats, the dim mode is also great when cabin is blacked out at night. The beam radius…
