E2D Defender Tactical (E2DLU-A) Dual-Output LED Flashlight
Machined from aerospace aluminum, the E2D Defender Tactical’s The Defender body also features a Type III Mil-Spec hard-anodized coating for abrasion and corrosion resistance in foul weather or other adverse environments. A bolstered dual-function pocket clip makes bezel-up or bezel-down pocket storage easy too.
The dual-output E2DLU-A utilizes SureFire’s virtually indestructible high-performance LED. It pumps out an intense 1,000-lumen beam, precisely focused through the optimized Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens.
The Ultra adds the extra value of dual-output capability. Clicking its tail cap twice yields a battery-saving 5 lumens with a continuous low-output run time of 63 hours.

Best small flashlight you can buy. Hands down the best small flashlight you can buy.Amazingly bright, virtually indestructible, and fits in your pocket. You can use it as just a flashlight, but it is also a functional kubaton, if you point it into anyone’s eyes they will be blind for a moment, and both ends have beveled striking surfaces. Can break glass, or bones, easily.Overall an amazing tool.
My Favorite Flashlight! When you go with Surefire, the price is always heavy, but the performance is equally as weighted. This light is hard as nails, bright as the sun, and you can turn it down to itâs low beam (5 lumens) for an impressive run time of 63hrs. On high beam (1,000 lumens) it has a runtime of 2.75hrs. Will work as a weapon light. Great lower cost alternative to the scout lights.The Surefire E2D Defender tactical – single output 1000lumens. With the Troy industries Vtac mount / Surefire UE – BK tailcap / Surefire SR Plug-In Tape Switch. All fit together to make a cheaper option than the M300 ultra, and you’ll have a better switch. Same brightness, overall 75-100bucks cheaper. In my case I saved about 100bucks.
