Bye Bye knee pain, hello mountain tops! Stumbling into the trekking pole world has been a learning experience. It all started when, at the ripe old age of 24, I experienced joint pain in my knees and hips to the point of being unable to continue. This was scary, I was in the middle of hiking out of Havasupai in the grand canyon and as I stared up at the last mile, a 2000ft incline up the canyon wall. It was a long a painful trip up full of rests and thoughts of disbelief, how could a young guy like me have joint pain like this…

Geat features, great price. Great poles, I work in Zion National Park one of the many great things about working in Zion are the trails. I have had the opportunity to see many different manufacturers poles. I have talked to several experienced hikers about the features they think are important.
