JW says:

As Advertised – keeps you warm. This was used a couple of weekends ago with a sleeping bag inside it. The Bivvy did well at providing the extra warmth needed. This product will trap water vapor, be warned. After using overnight, the sleep bag came out dripping wet and had to be hung up to dry. Good in a pinch, if you intend to use every night on the trail I would check out the breathable kind. I shall keep this one for emergence, my next purchase will be a breathable Bivvy.

Dan Maslak says:

Great Product to have Great Product to have!! If using the bivvy instead of a sleeping bag be aware of condensation build up from ur own body heat.

Paul Espasandin says:

Worth the money and space in your backpack It works exactly like I thought it would. I used it on a closed cell 2.25 foam mat, 20 degree sleeping bag inside the emergency bivy sack while wearing thermal undergarment wool socks and wool top. Had to make an emergency lean to shelter due to incoming storm. Temperatures were around low 20’s but I was warm all night with only a little condensation on the inside the next morning.
