The Lazy Bear Blankets for Camping by The Big Blue Mtn The Shell on both the blanket and the pouch are made of 20D RIPSTOP NYLON which is water resistant and smooth to the touch. The Pouch will slide right into your backpack without drama coming in less than 15 inches long and 6 inches radius. The nylon blanket comes in weighing 23 oz, while the pouch a whopping 1 oz. The fully lofted blanket provides 1.5 inches of warm and cozy insulation and measures out at 74″ X 50″ which is long and wide enough for most. We tested these blankets with a 6’4 man who had no issues getting comfortable. The temperature rating will vary based on the human. For general use, 50 degrees will keep the chill off, keeping you snug and warm. Going down to 40 degrees and your getting brave, so hopefully you are prepared with a layering system. 30 degrees and you’re likely clincially insane, while 20 degrees…JUST DONT….and good luck thawing out. We have no doubt a few of you will love these blankets at colder temps and others will freeze. Know your cold weather limits as milage may vary. These are drafty blankets without zippers and were not built for the arctic. Use extreme caution is freezing weather. Perfect for hammock, topquilt, bottomquilt or tent, throw it on like a poncho at a stadium sports events, a chilly lakeside picnic by the campfire, beach or just hanging out on the patio, on a cool night, like a comforter.

Light Weight, Warm, Compact I love this blanket. It’s light weight, warm, and compact. I can’t wait to escape the heat and head to the Rocky Mountains. This blank will be a definite addition to my gear!
