Well designed with multi compartments. Great for travel. Perfect for two camera bodies and large lens, binoculars, rain jacket, light fleece. Large side pockets for water bottle, sunscreen, bug repellant etc. Nice separate pocket for small items, spare batteries, film cards. Large rear pocket for laptop or iPad. Nice large front expandable pocket. Well thought out design for world travel carryon.

Solid, Quality Bag It’s a North Face quality bag, so you can’t go wrong. Sure, it’s a little more expensive than a Jansport but you also won’t have to replace it after a year. I had a Recon for years until it got stolen. I replaced it and had my new one for years, it’s traveled around the world with me, been in all sorts of conditions, and continues to hold up.
