Worth the price! We were tired of wasting money on inflatable air mattresses that only make it through a few car camping trips so i bought this (i have an older neo air i use for backpacking and love). This mat is really comfortable and durable. We have two dogs and they have walked/laid on it multiple times and so far no leaks or problems. I would recommend this mattress for anyone who is doing short backpacking trips or wants something simple for car-camping trips. Long distance backpackers may not like…

Good value Bought this as an entry level air mattress for backpacking as I’ve been using a RidgeRest but need more comfort. On a first glance it feels very durable and well made. Like others have said it does not include a repair kit. The stuff sack it comes with is great because it’s not over sized. The pad fits in it snugly to keep size to a minimum (measuring 5″x11″). Took under 20 breaths to fully inflate. It’s not nearly as noisy as other people have mentioned.

Take Time to Experiment with the Product I am a scoutmaster, but not an avid camper. Although I typically camp monthly with my troop, I have struggled to actually sleep well on a camp-out. The Therm-a-rest mattress is a great product, but it has taken me several uses to figure out how to use it effectively.
