Great for packing a single item type for lunch. The themermis is even better then expected. It really hold the food well but I do recommend that it hold one thing. So, don’t expect to stick fried rice, stir fry and some sauce. Most likely you are gonna have to compromise and get only rice and sauce which is not a bad thing. It hold everything for a long time and fits perfectly in most travel sized coolers. I would get three more when I get the chance.

Keeps Food Warm Learned my lesson about the thermal ratings and found this item which was the perfect size to put into student lunches. My kids report that their crock pot meals stay warm until eaten 4+ hours after preparation. If keeping hot/warm, be sure to follow the recommended procedure of heating up the Thermos with boiling water for 5 minutes before putting food into it.
