Lid gets stuck and won’t open I originally posted that I loved this thermos – and I did for so many reasons, it worked well, was so cute and fit great in lunchboxes – however, the lid is causing an incredible issue. I’m not sure if it has to do with the rubber gasket or the threading but sometimes, the lid doesn’t screw on correctly and you can’t get it to go correctly and then, it WON’T open – I mean, my 6’2″ 230lb husband can’t get the stinking lid off, let alone my poor 11 yo. At lunch, not one teacher in her…

I used it this week for Mac n cheese it was the perfect size and my daughter said it was still warm 4 hours after it was packed. Easy enough for her to open and close by herself too.

Watch out for food trapped in separation in plastic in the lid. This has been a great thermos but after 1.5 years of sporadic use (1-2 days a week for daughter’s school lunch), the plastic piece on the inside of the lid has partly separated from the top of the lid. More importantly, I noticed food stuff and water getting into/trapped in this cavity when I wash it. Just now…before writing this sentence…I decided to completely separate this plastic piece from the top – which seems to simply be attached with glue. Now I can definitely confirm that…
