doesn’t keep food super hot Food was not hot by lunch time (packed at 7:30am, eaten at 11:30am), so we tried letting the thermos sit on the counter for a few minutes with really hot water in it before adding the food (typically mac & cheese which we put in when it’s really hot)Now the mac & cheese is hotter at lunch (still not hot, but warmer).All in all it’s a cute thermos, my daughter doesn’t complain that the food is too cold, so it’s a win.
Does its job. Ordered this Disney Frozen thermos for our 3.5-year old daughter, so far it’s kept her food warm, we pack it at 7:30am and by the time she eats at 11:45am, it’s still relatively warm. The lid seals fine, no leaks. I would recommend this.
Perfect for the Frozen lovers hot lunch I bought these for my Frozen loving daughter for the days she feels like taking something hot for lunch. You do have to fill them with hot water to warm up the thermos before putting the food inside, to get it up to temp. I haven’t tested the heat keeping ability myself, but every time she uses them, I’ve asked her if her food has been hot enough and she says yes, and she hasn’t gotten sick, so I’m going to assume they’re doing their job.
