PIPING HOT! So far so GREAT! I purchases this so that aincould take fresh soup to work without having to go to the cafe to microwave it. Wow, I am SO impressed! I followed the instructions and poured boiling water into it for about 10 minutes prior to pouring the soup in it. When went to eat the soup FIVE hours later, it was piping hot! It was so hot, I had to let it cool off! Thank you Thermos!
Terrific Thermos ! ! ! This really holds the food HOT. My biggest critics are my kids and they love it. They can finally take hot pasta or soup to school and have a hot meal. But, you MUST follow the instructions. I recommend that you allow the BOILING HOT water to sit in the thermos for a minimum of 15 minutes. Keep in mind you must put piping hot food into the container. The kids tell me that when they open the thermos hot steam comes out and the food is nice and warm. Detailed Photos and Cleaning Tips– DOESN’T LEAK! This has been my favorite of all the hot lunch travel containers. I purchased two of this product, as well as two each of the 24 oz container and the 10 oz container. It has kept foods warm for 9 hours so far, with the best results being soups and other mainly liquid based items.
