My dad can’t stop talking about them I’ve always splurged on Thorlo and Wigwam socks all my life as nothing beats a great pair of socks (well almost nothing). I bought 3 pairs of these for my dad for Christmas a couple of years ago. I have to say that he mentions how much he loves them every couple of months during our long distance phone calls. He even wears them in the hot Texas summer as they are more comfortable than his cotton ones. Had I known how much he was going to love them, I would have bought them for him years…
Decent and thick The large Thorlos arrived and the fit is SNUG. I returned the mediums (6-8.5) because they were too tight on my feet; the large are snug on my size 9 feet so be wary of that. The large socks also seem short (measured 11 inches from floor to top of sock) and the snugness on the calf doesn’t convey a sense of longevity. For my use, with my feet, these are the best socks year-round.
