I don’t get the negative reviews I have had more people complement me on this watch than any other watch I have owned. Totally water proof, easy to read and most importantly tells the tides. My wife think I need some expensive watch and has been looking at fancy watches that are now being marketed for surfers, “Marine,” etc. I say, “Does it tell the tide?” And of course the expensive watches never think of putting a tide gauge on a surf watch. I don’t get it. Anyhow, I would like a new band for it. If anyone has…

Handsome design. Horrible engineering. Zero support. Too many arms. Hard to zero in on hour/minute hands. First one simply quit working. Very specialized watch. No one but Timex able to work on it. Mention type of watch to any repair specialist and get same response…”No way! This watch – Impossible!” Sent to Timex. They sent back a used, dirty replacement with a differant color strap. Apparently even Timex can’t work on it. Strap of replacement broke after very light use. NO ONE CAPABLE OF REPLACING STRAP…Most useless watch I’ve ever had.

My other one is a well-used black model that I had bought used a couple of years ago. This silver-colored one is far prettier than my beat up old black workhorse. Here’s affordable elegance and practicality. You can keep your Rolex Yachtmaster. If I run aground on a sandbar, I want to know if the tide is rising or falling. The compass may not be the most…
