It’s good, but not perfect. I’m torn on this item. It gets cold- VERY cold- and stays cold for hours. I have fallen asleep with this in my bed, and found it still cold 8 hours later when I woke up. (Not resting on my skin all night to be warmed by my body temp.) It gets so cold that I have to wrap it in more towel than I’m used to having to do with crappy drugstore cold packs, and have even needed to let it sit out for a while to warm up a bit before I could use it.I like that it has a bit of weight to it-…
Long-lasting cold!!! Let me tell you, this is the best ice pack ever!!! My husband had rotator cuff shoulder surgery so we needed an oversized ice pack for post-surgery and for after the many therapy sessions. It gets very cold (he loves super cold ice packs), enough where my husband absolutely had to put a towel over it for the first 15 minutes, and then could handle taking the towel off for another 30-45 minutes of cold pack treatment! We had bought another brand of oversized cold pack, but that one does not…
Minor Miracle for Menopause (night sweats) I hesitated before buying this because it was more expensive than other similar-seeming cold packs, but it’s been worth its weight in gold! Every night, I put it in a thick velour pillowcase (king size so it wraps twice around the pack). I put it under my regular pillow and go to sleep ~ it’s thin enough that I don’t even notice it now (I did a little at first). Then when I wake up with a hot flash, I flip my pillow over to the “cool side” which in this case is the blissfully chilled…
