While developing our Tri-Fold Carbon Cork trekking poles, we set out to combine several outstanding benefits into a single high-performance product.
We wanted to create a compact set of poles that you can bring along wherever you go. The poles have a unique design that allows them to fold to just 15 inches in length, or about 40 percent less than most traditional poles. They will easily fit into your carry-on luggage or day pack. Each pole comes in at just 9 oz, which will reduce arm fatigue.
We wanted to use durable materials so that you could count on their performance. We use strong carbon fiber shafts reinforced with 7000-series aluminum at the connector points to increase durability. They will not let you down! The syncork handle provides all the benefits of real cork but is more durable and better for the environment.
We wanted to make them adjustable so that you can leverage them regardless of terrain. The flick-lock mechanism allows you to easily change the length in seconds. This means that you will be able to use your upper body to help on long climbs and take pressure off the knees on descents.

A 5 once you know the secret! I was all set to return these until I figured out how they work…now I love them. When they arrived they came in three sections and looked well made but I was concerned about their ability to remain assembled. Rest assured that once assembled they are rock solid…as long as you know the “trick.” the trick is to push the locking mechanism up until the locking pin pops out. BEST Trekking pole on the planet – BAR NONE This is, by far, the best trekking pole you can purchase. I spent considerable time researching trekking poles and looked at every brand from Black Diamond to Cascade Mountain. Features that were important to me included being lightweight, adjustable, strong/sturdy, foldable and a cork handle. The trekking poles from Paria have all of those features. Having foldable and adjustable poles is very important to me. Many of the poles one purchases are an exact size, eg 110 cm etc. or they collapse…
