Great blanket for keeping you dry, but could benefit from a softer fabric on top. This picnic blanket is great for almost anything. We live in San Francisco, and the park grounds seem like they are almost always damp so it’s nice to have something to keep you dry. We can fit two adults laying down side-by-side (including my tall 6’4″ boyfriend) comfortably, but somewhat cozy, or 3-4 people sitting on the blanket. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that while the material is great for keeping you dry, it is not particularly soft, so I often bring a towel…

BIG AND PERHAPS WITH IMPROVEMENTS? Before buying this, I read many of the reviews, and a few people commented that it was not sew properly, and that the top slipped against the bottom, making it dangerous for young kids her might step on it etc.
