Better Than the Yeti OEM lid It’s as snug as the one that came with my Yeti Rambler but has a way to close it up. Great for environments where a cover is a good idea as well as keeps my cold water cold longer than the oem one.That shape of the opening allows for direct sips or to use a straw (not included).A definite must have for me for its making the cup much more spill resistant as well because when the slide cover is closed it’s sealed pretty well, though not spill proof. Does not stay closed The closure of the lid does not stay open or shut, if I wiggle my SIC 30oz cup it will slide back and forth! The lid itself stays pretty snug and I did not see any dripping. It obviously does more than the open mouth lid that comes with the bottle- so I gave it two starts especially due to the low price of this product. If I got a dud product, I would hope the company will send me a new one- in which case I would update my review!I hope other people have not had this issue!
Disappointing performance. No value here Seemed like a great idea. It’s splash proof NOT water tight. My problem is that after two weeks of use, the sliding closure tab became so loose it wouldn’t stay in the open position. So as I lift the cup to drink, it slides closed. This renders the product useless and waste of money. I can remove the slide closure tab but that I have no value to this lid over the original that came with the cup.
